Shifting Focus is a personal art project that combines my passion for photography with my curiosity about the human experience. Highlighting moments from personal conversations, I aim to deepen the meaning behind each photograph, allowing viewers to engage with narratives that often remain unseen.
BREAKING SERVE
Finding guidance and purpose through tennis
HOMESICK
Photographed participants as they created a community collage around the theme "HOMESICK," exploring the many ways we each understand the concept of home. Each contributor shared their personal reflection on what home means to them, captured through both their art and a single sentence. These photos and reflections offer a glimpse into the diverse meanings of home—identity, belonging, and connection—woven together into a collective collage.
ART IN THE PAINT
A non-profit dedicated to using art and athletics to promote a higher quality of life, mobilize communities, and inspire equitable play.
COMMUNE
Inspired by Japan's jazz kissa culture, this series explores Commune, an Atlanta listening bar built around intentional listening, shared experience, and connection through music. Paired with excerpts from a conversation with co-owner Zopi Kristjanson, these photographs examine how physical spaces can encourage presence, community, and a deeper relationship with sound.
